All Inclusive Vacations – the no-worries vacation, but there is a catch…

Some of you are probably asking yourself what all this hype is about all inclusive vacations – especially in the Canadian travel market.  Well here’s the quick and dirty: An all-inclusive vacation is exactly what it sounds like – everything is included.  Right from the time you arrive at the airport a representative is there to greet you and get you on the plane.  Direct flight I might add, no stop-over in Dallas, or Miami – you’re headed straight to the destination. As soon as you arrive and get off the plane your deluxe coach is waiting with a drink to cool you down, straight to the resort; no need to hassle with a local taxi during your first five minutes in a new country.

You arrive at the resort for a quick check-in and another welcome drink – now the choices and fun begin.  Hungry, why not try out the lunch buffet, or head down to the Bar-B-Q going on at the pool?  Perhaps it’s a drink you’re after – alcoholic or not, it’s your choice, no matter what you decide – it’s free!  Maybe you’re up for a swim; pool or beach?  You can even combine those options if you’d like; some BBQ chicken and a beer, a margarita on the beach, or a tequila sunrise at the swim up bar!

Let me line this up for you: For one price you get a direct flight, hotel, transfers, all meals and drinks, daily and nightly entertainment and a local rep. to answer all your questions.  So what’s the catch? … it’s not the price if that’s what you’re thinking. Because tour operators buy bulk and the tight competition from other suppliers and websites prices are extremely low.

OK, you’ve waited long enough, here’s the catch:  it’s hard to know if you’re getting the absolute beat price.  With so many sites and tours, how to you know you have the best deal?

Studies (sorry to bore you) have show that people actually worry about spending $10 more than the next person for the same vacation.  Everyone wants to be on that plane going to the resort, paying less than the guy sitting next to them, but how?  Well, forget about your local agent, those prices are hundreds more than the online sites.  But which online site – all of them guarantee the lowest price?  And it’s true they do all have the same prices.  Here’s how, there’s a new rage in the online travel race, the only actual way to make sure you’re getting the best deal.  The site is called Pricebeat.ca – it’s a fairly simple concept, always the lowest price plus you get $20 - $1000 in gift cards with every purchase. So, all those sites with the same price … now you can be sure your getting the best deal.  Better yet, the gift cards are actually worthwhile; think Walmart, Esso, The Keg, or Best Buy!

So, now you have a worry free vacation and a worry free price – enjoy!
