Cologne, June 2010 - Just in time for Summer 2010 Pixum has started the annual photo competition SummerZoom. Starting on June 22 all amateur photographers across 10 European countries can enter their favourite holiday pictures and travel stories. This is the fourth SummerZoom competition in a row; this year the winner will win a waterproof Pentax Optio W90 digital camera.
This years SummerZoom will run until end of September and amateur photographers from 10 European countries (Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Norway) can enter with their favourite, funniest or most beautiful pictures and even include their travel stories. The entire Pixum staff will sit together to decide on the winners for SummerZoom 2010 in UK.
The main prize this year is a Pentax Optio W90. This digital camera is waterproof up to 6 meters depth, protected from dust and shockproof – the perfect camera for adventurers. The second place winner will get a big Pixum Acrylic Print and the third place winner will win a Pixum Photo Book Large with hard cover – each accompanied by a big stack of free photo prints. But Pixum has a prize for all entrants: everybody will get a voucher for 25 free 6”x4” photo prints.
